Addiction Specialist Physician
Dr Olalekan Otulana is an experienced GP and Addiction Specialist Physician with over 24 years in medicine and more than 14 years specialising in substance misuse management. He provides medical consultations and clinical oversight for Detox Plus clients requiring detoxification and rehabilitation support.
Dr Otulana holds extensive qualifications including MBChB, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFSRH, and FRSPH. He is an Advanced Addiction Practitioner Member of Addiction Professionals and holds the Certificate in Clinical Psychopharmacology from the British Association for Psychopharmacology. He has completed the RCGP Parts 1 and 2 Certificates in Substance Misuse Management and the RCGP Certificate in Alcohol Abuse Management.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr Otulana holds an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School, which he applies to strategic decision-making and the development of clinical protocols that enhance patient care outcomes.
Dr Otulana has extensive experience in the assessment and management of patients with alcohol and drug addiction problems, including complex cases requiring dual detoxification treatments.
